Ohmygoodness! These two are getting married tomorrow!!
I'm beyond excited for their day. I know that it is going to be a warm and heartfelt ceremony followed by a memorable reception. I'm sharing a few more photos from their fall engagement session at Foxhill Park in Bowie, MD. We watched the sunset and it was absolutely spectacular.

Soooo I'm a little behind on blogging (again). I photographed this beautiful family all the way back in November. Whoops. Better late than never... right? :) During the winter months I spend a lot of time meeting families for Holiday photos. It is one of the perks of the quiet winter season and I look forward to it every year.
We spent a very relaxed Saturday morning in their gorgeous Arlington home. It was the a comfortable and perfect backdrop for their lifestyle family photos.

Spring has finally sprung and I am one happy camper. Buh bye snow! Buh bye 10 degree weather!
Although, there's something to be said about it being freezing out and having the entire family warm and cozy inside. I got to hang out with the O'Hare family back in February, just a couple weeks after they welcomed their teeny tiny newest addition. Both their boys are the sweetest. We snuggled on the couch, played with blocks, and jammed out to kid-friendly music. Side note on this -- I had no idea there's a Pandora station that turns rock music into lullabies. I was humming along the entire time :) Very cool. If you have young kids, check it out.
Well. We wanted some sleepy newborn shots but baby was having none of it! He was wide awake and hangin' out until the very end of our session. Then when he finally snoozed, for one of the last photos I took, he offered up the most adorable smile that melted my heart. Sleeping baby smiles are just the best.

Back in November I attended the incredible Bayside Bride Workshop hosted by the sweet and talented Natalie Franke and Krista A. Jones. Let me just say - I had my socks blown off. It was one of the most informative workshops that I have attended to date, and without a doubt, had the prettiest details. The florals, the dress, the couple! The day flew by in a blink.
Fellow photographers: If you are contemplating signing up for one of their next workshops - just do it. Don't think too long and hard. DO IT. I almost didn't get to experience this day... I thought about it, and thought about it, and then decided yes I really wanted to attend. Well, what happened? I missed the last slot by mere minutes and I was put first on the waiting list. *womp* Thankfully someone needed to drop out and I did a little jig into the last opening. So, like I said, do it. You'll learn so much, come away with incredible images, have too much fun, and network with other photographers in our area.
