Memorial Day Weekend

I was sick on and off for the entire Memorial Day weekend... A huge drag, especially considering my best friend was coming down from Pennsylvania to stay at my house. The weekend turned out to be great (minus the coughs and sniffles). On Saturday we spent the day at Quiet Water's Park in MD. We had ourselves a good old fashioned BBQ complete with soccer and Frisbee action!

Brats, Dogs and Burgers, oh my!

Rounding everyone up back to their cars... an end to a great day!

Updating the photograph we took in the same spot all of 6 years ago... it's hard to believe it's been that long

Toya & Raynier {Expecting}

I am so lucky to have met this couple.
...I know I say this a lot, but seriously, my clients lately have all been awesome!
It's all thanks to friends referring friends and I couldn't be more thankful.
All of you ROCK!

Raynier is a musician and Toya is a party planner (umm, hello, you know they sound like a fun pair!).
Both are upbeat and so much fun to spend time with.
I can't wait to hang out with them again soon.
Gorgeous!  Toya - you were rockin' those heels!
Can you feel the love?  So sweet.
Dimuel will be here shortly... watch out world!
If he's anything like his daddy, we've got a musician on our hands!
Beautiful bump!
Nothing like a few field photos... love, love, love!
Toya making pregnancy absolutely beautiful.  She's glowing!

Mother Daughter Time {Maroz Style}

Natasha is originally from Belarus, where her mother and family still live.
This year her mom came to the U.S. for a few weeks to visit.
Since they rarely get to see each other they decided to have photos done.

These two are a wonderful pair and absolutely hillarious together.
Natasha's mother speaks Russian, and is learning English, so I couldn't follow much of what was being said...
But when it comes to laughter and smiles there's no such thing as a language barrier!
The photos that follow were so much fun to capture.
STUNNING ladies!
...and yes, her eyes really are that blue.
Capturing the National Monument, Maroz style.
...there's just something about this image.  This mother-daughter duo shares such a strong and beautiful bond.

Shannon {Family}

I'm so thankful I was able to meet this beautiful family.
Between bowling games, sleep overs and all-the-activities-of-a-7-year-old
this is one busy family!

We met for a morning session at Allen Pond in Bowie.
It is one of my favorite parks in the area and I have a lot of childhood memories there.
Hopefully Sydnee will have a few fond memories of Allen Pond Park now as well :)
The bubbles were a big hit!  ...but then again when aren't they?! ;)
I love bubbles.
Bubbles = Smiles & Giggles
They're fun to chase too!
We hit the stage to dance for a couple minutes.
Sydnee loves Hannah Montana so I asked her to show me some of her moves.
She loves to swing
...and to run  (fave family shot here btw!)
Snuggles...
...and more giggles.  What a great Sunday!
Darnetta - you are beautiful!
What a darling little girl!
Shannon Family - I had a great time hanging out last weekend!
