I am thankful we were able to meet for maternity photos.
At 9 months pregnant, Kyisha and her husband are expecting their little Lorenzo IV very soon!

I enjoy documenting things in an unusual way and push myself to think outside the box.

Trying something different often ends with beautiful results. 

I wanted to record who went on our trip to the Outer Banks, but not just with the usual group pictures.

So I broke out the Macro and a different type of portrait session began!

Summer Vacation 2010 | OBX Amazingness

Yeah... I know.  I have been M.I.A. lately.  My blogging has been lacking, and I miss it. 

Well.... I'm baaack!

I have been crazy busy editing the wedding photos from Matt and Danielle's Wedding.  Lunch breaks, Metro rides, car rides, and evening into late night - you'll find me glued to PhotoShop.  It's my new BFF. 

Not really new, but, well, you get the idea.  We hang out a lot :)

I had a nice break from the daily schedule while in North Carolina last week.  It's almost surreal to be back in the real world.  The Outer Banks was perfect location for this summer's vacation and renting a beach house was the way to go.  We are definately going back!  I took a few pictures and wanted to share.

Just after sunrise as one of my friends tested out his new fishing rod.

The pelicans skimming the surf was incredibly beautiful.  They were everywhere!

Sand crabs were also in abundance... They're funny little creatures.

I wasn't used to the terrain!  Very dense and prickly in comparison to what we have in Maryland.

The girls and I went on several walks.

The picking of friendship flowers ensued.  It's what we do :)

Specifically Macro Eye day.  That was lots of fun! :)

Summer Vacation and 4th of July Fun

So it's finally Summer Vacation Time!!!

Saturday, bright and early, we head to the Outer Banks in NC.

I will be away from internet access for the following week and will respond

to emails as soon as I get back. 

On another fun note we had a great time this 4th of July at my house!

I was able to toy around with slow exposures and capture light trails - 

which I have always wanted to try :)

Matt & Danielle {Wedding Preview}

Matt and Danielle were married this past weekend on the family farm in Pennsylvania.
It was the perfect setting for them to show their love for one another.

Everything about this day was special and memorable!

I am thankful to have been there to capture their memories.
